Ying Wai Tai Chi is focused on providing Yang Style Tai Chi and Qi Gong routines to improve strength and balance with the additional benefits that “active meditation” can bring.

I have been a student of the international YANG STYLE of Tai Chi since 2015. I embrace passing the YANG STYLE techniques on to others wishing to practice the beautiful flowing routines and benefit from their improved body strength, balance and mind relaxation.

Qualifications
  • A student of Yang Style Tai Chi Auckland since 2015
  • A member of “Health Qigong NZ”
  • St Johns First Aid Certificate Level 1
  • AUT Harbour Sport Strength & Balance Program approved
Classes

Our class is certified annually by North Harbour Sport /AUT for Strength And Balance, as an accredited provider.

The hour long class comprises of warm ups, hand form and foot work practice, then the commencement of various Qi Gong, Ba Duan Jin and Tai Chi routines. Tai Chi is a perpetual learning sport. One never “finishes” learning Tai Chi and it can be practiced for a lifetime to continue to receive the physical and mental benefits of this ancient art form at any age.

During Daylight Savings classes can be held outside to enjoy the sunshine so look out for “Special Event” days where we will hold classes at popular beaches or tranquil parks.
